I ended up switching from Festool abrasives to Indasa. Much cheaper and ended up with what I felt was a much better finish.
Thank you so much Rod. Very kind of you and MUCH appreciated. I am closing down my small one man shop after 2.5 years of blissful stress and woe. There's a fine line between pushing yourself and...
Ah, I used to be. I don't have the money now. :( Hence why I am selling tools. Oh well.
It looks like I am an unable to post in the classified section. What's the reason?
Wow, just saw this while brushing up on this process as I am using it again. I order from a place called Reliable Finisheds in Arlington Heights, IL.
I have to agree with the statement about the drills. I have the CXS. Other than that... How great could they be?
That being said... My name is Mike and I am an addict...
Not shown is an MFT,...
Did you order the 12" or the 18"? I see the 12" on amazon right now. I'm ordering one! I really need the 18" for squaring my MFT.
Indeed. I need to find a way to do it with much less work though. I guess the whitewash could be worth a shot on scrap.
Would you say this is pine?

It's a cabinet. A media console of sorts. Roughly 36"Wx34"Hx24"D. The piece with the radii is a corner joint that holds the sides to the top and bottom. Decorating yet structural.
Yeah, but your systems performs better I bet.
Ok. A cove bit for the inside and a round over bit for the outside. What about the bullnose on the end grain? That's seems like a dangerous profile to route.
I just ordered the Carvex last month. After adjusting the blade guides I was able to get a better cut. However, I would not be confident using the Carvex for what you are planning.
Hey guys!
How would you go about making this roundover corner piece? I can't tell from the pic if the inside has a radius to it or if it's square.
What would you do? Besides CNC.
Here is a funny video that demonstrates this sentiment… It also demonstrates why it's best (for a married man…) to have a stand alone shop.

Thanx Doug! Like the 'rush-tic' stain? I didn't take the time to sand adequately. Not like I would on a paid gig.
Thanx Phil! It's looking more complete. Thankfully I still have quite a bit of floor space. Here's some updated pics.
