I have replaced the impeller with a 12 inch impeller (I think it was a Rikon). I've also opened up the intake to the impeller to a full 6 inch.
Try this link instead.

On the HF dust collector, the outlet of the impeller housing is about 6x4 inches (I think), then gets choked down to a 5 inch round house. Not a huge choke, but a choke none the less. On an...
Can anyone point me to research on the best location for the hose port on a blade guard.? I've seen some placed at the rear of the guard, others focused on the front of the blade. I'm trying to...
Looking at those search results, it looks like the closest I can get is 56 tooth count, either WEN or Makita. Guess I'll try the WEN first, just because of cost. If I'm not happy with it, I'll try...
What are some good choices for a plywood finish blade for the WEN 6.5 inch track saw? I wanted to use the Diablo 60 tooth blade, but the Diablo has a 5/8 inch bore while the saw has a 20 mm shaft.
Message sent. THANK YOU!
Thank you.
Like the title says, I'm looking for an owners manual, either hard copy or PDF, for an old JDS Air Tech 2000 model 350 air filtration system. This is the single speed, no remote model. A friend...
I want to install a French cleat system around the perimeter of my basement workshop, but am undecided as to how to anchor it to the portion that is poured concrete. Would I have better luck using...

I had not thought of the linoleum approach. That gives a lot more color options.
I have an old roll top desk that I inherited from my father. Most of my life it had a hard green rubber writing surface inlaid into the top, but about twenty years ago the desk went through a flood...
Jason, thanks for the pics. http://gallery.beamerweb.com/index.php/Woodworking/Shop/Blade-Guard/000_0179 This close up of the ceiling mount is along the lines of what I was envisioning, except I was...
How about a discussion regarding methods/ideas for mounting a table saw overhead blade guard to the ceiling with provisions for fine tuning the x/y positions to align with the blade if needed? Right...
My shop ceiling is OSB and my walls are mostly poured concrete, partially drywall. On both the OSB and the drywall, I ran two inch masking tape across all the seams, for the sole purpose of...
And if the key lock that they offer for panel doors is not substantial enough for you, a hasp and a good Master padlock would still be quite a bit less expensive than a high amp 240V contactor.
Use a short extension cord to go from the ceiling box down to a height where you can easily reach it to unplug it for blade changes and other maintenance as needed.
Again, as others have said already, the side of the blade that you normally put your fence on is probably the side where you want your drop to be. But, you might also want to plan ahead and have a...
Still looking at the conduit approach to get me through my current projects, although the fence rail pic has given me some ideas for something more permanent down the road. I think I'm going to use...
I'm looking for ideas to make a left side support for my table saw, just something that I would occasionally setup, but often enough that I don't want it to be borderline dependable or borderline...

Okay, going to try a simple SPDT switch, on-off-on, to use two speeds first. I'll install a terminal strip inside the enclosure so that I can experiment with which two of the four speeds I want to...
Any idea where I can get a 4 position rotary switch (on the cheap) to select the speeds on a DIY air filtration unit. The cannibalized squirrel cage fan I've got has 4 power leads, each providing a...
