I found this Doug. LINK Not certain it's the same thing they are talking about, but seems like it.
Tom, I'm with you. Sure seems like somebody clever could make their own, but I don't know of a...
Your reference is much appreciated Joe. Thanks for sharing.
My thoughts exactly - sharpness, depth and direction.
Dave, I envy your tact. I'll leave it at that. As you say, only the OP knows his customer and their circumstances.
Nice box! Great way to organize. I think I'll copy your good idea.
How did you attach the maple to the top? (It sorta looks like it is held on by the knob, rather than being glued.)

That's neat. I like it!
I got a set for Christmas but havent even opened the box yet. Will look forwward to your upcoming post! I know Derek Cohen speaks well of them too.

I have an LN 102 and an Ashley Isles chisel. Together, they sound like a very fine "thank you for everything" gift, Dr. Lau.
* Their squares are very nice. I have a 641 and it's a nice tool.
* They sell something called a Delve Square. Many love those. Nothing wrong with that. (I did just buy a Milwaukee Rafter Square...
"This is 100% risk free." WARNING! WARNING WILL ROBINSON! Attorneys don't ever write things like that. Not ever. They don't give guarantees because they know better.
I noticed this thread is 10 yrs old but the topic still seems germane.
Please help me understand? I cant quite see how covers - breathable or not - prevent tools from rusting. It seems like moist...
My favorite "find'? A #2 handplane I found for $15 in an antique booth.
