You can put them in the microwave for 30s to get some of the moisture out and shrink them somewhat. Past that, they might just be oversized and you might need a dowel plate or sand them down.
I had a 513x2 and now have a Laguna 18hd. I bolted a piece of 1.5" square tubing on the long side of the base through the holes already there. The tubes ar long enough to bolt a 3" stem caster on...
I have 20 tape measures and 100 pencils around here somewhere.
Sheet sandpaper comes from Home Depot.
Sanding disks come from Amazon.
Drum sander paper comes from Industrial Abrasive.
Track saw - this is pretty much a one trick pony for me due to having other tools that are faster for me. I usually only use mine for breaking down plywood and then make final cuts on the tablesaw....
I will go with not a commonly used tool. I have one but I don't use it very often.
I have cut some 1/4" plate. The thickest piece was a pommel and guard for a viking sword which was about 1" thick. I cut the pocket for the blade with an 1/8" end mill. My cuts are always very...
If it is going to be painted I don't see why not. I would use a finger joint bit and alternate the short cut ends as mentioned before.
I have a 2019 Stinger 2x4 with a higher gantry and a 2.2k spindle. No issues cutting Aluninum but I take it slow. I don't do much of it because it is messy. I have a mister and use denatured...
If you are in the Portland OR area I can do it for you.
I'm glad I am not in the marker for a drill press. If I was It would probably be the Nova Voyager. I'm not sure if the electronics will hold up for 20 years like you want. I'm not saying they...
I had a 36" rip capacity on my saw before I got a track saw. I now have a 36" rip capacity on my saw. I don't find a track saw as a replacement of a table saw.
I dove into the rabbit hole last year due to a health issue. What I settled on was the following:
1) Keep moving. A person that exercises but eat unhealthy will live longer than somebody that eats...
I made 3 orders before Christmas and all arrived promptly and without issue.
This looks like the best bet if you want to replace. I looked for parts for the G01023RL and pricing the front rail, rear rail, and front tube it comes out to $360.
I made one that is a combination of the Woodpecker, Veritas and the guy on Youtube that the Veritas one is based on. I made it mainly for picture frames. Mine will also allow for use of my standard...
I have always used Industrial Abrasive. They used to have larger rolls but now sell only 35' rolls which is a bummer. It is cheaper than Klingspor per foot but with the new shorter rolls I don't...
- 4 in one screwdrivers. I have a couple. Great for taking somewhere. The only thing don't like is the shaft is wider and it doesn't fit in a lot of places. I mostly use battery power...
I sold my Dewalt scroll saw because I just didn't use it that much. It was by far the smoothest scroll saw I have used. Like everything else, the blade makes a huge difference. Those spiral blades...
I believe this is the one I have as well. I am happy with it.
I have mostly Jet(my favorite) and Bessy(old and new). I probably have 8 or 12 of the new Jorgensen from Lowe's. I don't know how they compare to the old version, but I don't have any complaints and...
I wouldn't buy anything Delta at this point. I did a search and couldn't find any info on the sanders you are taking about, not even on their website. That is the 2nd red flag for me.
Spacesge Ceramics makes ceramic blocks for the 14" Delta. You can also google cool blocks for the Delta as well
Most cheap cnc spindles are water cooled which would be a pain. Mist are 240V 3phase as well. Air cooled 120V would be ok but getting a good one would probably more expensive. More than likely you...
