I went with threaded sch 40 black pipe for my air system. A 3/4" main line with 1/2" drops.
That said I'm still working on finishing my shop and haven't put the air to it yet.
Have the locline from LV and it works well.
Have some 1/4" on order to try as an air blower on my scroll saw.
I have two each of the LED magnetic light and the larger, more expensive light, both from lee valley. I use the LED one on my belt grinder and buffer and the larger ones with 100W equivalent CFLs on...
Screws for sure! If it seems like too much work to run them all in with an impact driver get an auto feed screw gun. I have a senco unit that attaches to my makita drywall gun.
I do maintenance in an industrial facility, primarily electrical but a bit of everything. I use this stuff steady! Makes awesome pipe racks. I even used it in my basement to keep my PEX and conduit...
Between the wiha, wera and makita impact bits, they're all improvements on standard bits.
I prefer a 4" bit over a 2" though.
I've been spraying the interior doors and trim inside my house with an Earlex 5500 that I was borrowing and now a Fuji semi-pro (both two stage units). I am using Sherwin-Williams opulence semi-gloss...

I used Ipe to replace the trim on my boat (a 1971 searay) and it has held up great. some of the original wood pieces are teak but as has been mentioned, it was way out of budget. I also did some...
I've been using the ideal can-twist wire nuts and really like them. I never pre-twist.
I like the stabilizing setup! I make outdoors style knives from O1 ground stock on my 1x42" belt grinder. I may have to make a vac setup and give it a try, so far I've only use exotic woods that are...
I'm also a hobbyist with a small shop and a one and a half car garage. I use a Harbor Freight 2HP DC for my table saw, router table, bandsaw and planer. I also have a Winn filter on the way for it,...
I built one for my old grizzly bandsaw out of 4" channel and 4"x1/4" angle with locking casters from lee valley.

I've had the 18V LXT Makita for about 7 years now and I have no complaints.
I really like it! great full tang with a comfortable handle on a traditional scandi.
Within the last year I've started getting into knife making but my fit and finish isn't nearly as good as that.
