Lacquer is NOT water resistant.
Do not use lacquer thinner if the pieces are stained or finished.
I use Toluol (I get mine at Menards). Same as Goo Gone, only a lot cheaper.

How 'bout these from Custom Service Hardware:

When I set up my Shop Fox 26" double drum, I measured .005" across the 26" width.
Bruce,
I buy mine from https://www.onlineindustrialsupply.com/, who carry plain-backed rolls. I have a Shop Fox double drum sander that uses 3-in. hook & loop paper. Like Jim Becker, I use mine...
Count me in. Thanks.
I'm in the same boat as Howard using Windows 10.
Don't know what you're making, but you can try this:
Make the piece you want to mortise in two pieces, both halves to be glued up to make one piece. In each half, cut a dado 3/8 in. deep x...
Talk about brain freeze! Mea culpa.

Zac, I'd be interested in the 12-inch Forrest if you decide to sell the blades.
I fill these from a gallon jug. Holds 12 ounces of glue, takes very little effort to squeeze, less than a buck at Walmart.
Try these folks: https://columbussawtool.com/
Not sure if it's the right one, but Grizzly has these http://media.grizzly.com/9670/Users/45235/emailbessey2-100719.jpgon clearance today for $25.
Roll cork. It comes as thin as 1/8 inch. Apply as-is or with spray adhesive (or glue?)
You say that the motor cover is missing. The black plastic box in your second photo sure looks like the motor cover on my 1995 5 hp Powermatic 66.
Count me in. Thanks.

You should have a steel fabricator or a steel supplier near you that sells steel bar, tube, square etc. What they would charge for a clean cut would be far less than you'd spend on abrasive wheels...

You....(GASP!)....read the DIRECTIONS??? Your man card is permanently revoked.
Are the lenses glass? Or polycarbonate? If glass, then lacquer thinner will work well (keep it away from any plastic parts). If polycarbonate, lens cleaner in a spritzer bottle applied over a couple...
Jack,
I agree with everyone else, but I would advise against wedging a metal screwdriver in the saw kerf. If that screwdriver were to work loose and come in contact with that blade....

I have the Shop Fox, which is the same as the Grizzly - just a different color - and wouldn't be without it. As far as the loose spindles, invest in several nuts to match the threads on the...
