I have a CU300 combo which is basically the FS30. You have to learn to tighten it the same every time. End of cutter at the hinge side doesn't change much.

If I gave up woodworking I would keep my edge sander. Crazy Useful.
Mine has oscillation but I don't think it's necessary.
Only downside with epoxy is the dark line it leaves. Not a problem on end grain especially with that dark wood.

I keep course stuff for the 6".
