This is how I do it and it works pretty well.
I remember in the 60's or 70's you couldn't buy a picnic table in any hardware store that wasn't made of redwood. Boy how times have changed.
I have about 200 board feet of yellow birch in mostly 4/4. Is there a particular piece or style of furniture yellow birch is suited to? I was thinking maybe a linen press or a stepback cupboard. ...
I still use mine. Mostly for aligning edge glue-ups and for mounting face frames on cabinets.
I have an old Dewalt RAS and it works great. Try to do as much crosscutting as I can with it and only use the table saw for ripping and dados
My G0453Z 15-inch planer shipped on 12 July after being on backorder since June. I'm not complaining. Some people have been waiting a lot longer than that for backorders to be filled.
Just notified a few days ago from Grizzly that my planer shipped. I decided to go with the 15-inch G0453Z.
Any updates on the availability? I'm getting ready to buy one also.
I have the corded Dewalt track saw and like it very much. Haven't used the dust collection aspect of it yet though. Use it mostly to break down plywood but also found it is great at ripping a...
I was lurking because I too have a 36-812 and would also be interested in a riving knife.
Does shark guard have something that will fit this model?
Love mine also. Found that it is also great for straightening one edge of my larger/heavier rough cut lumber before running it through the table saw to get it to jointer width.
Yes I would. But I have wood countertops in my kitchen also and have had no issues with them so far. I would think that as long as it was finished properly it wouldn't be an issue.
The first day of my ECON 101 class in college I learned that businesses "exist solely to make a profit."
I have Kreg 2000 kit and it is great for face frames. Just built a huge basement wall cabinet (80 x 31 x 14) a few weeks ago from 4 plywood carcasses and a face frame, all built entirely with pocket...
I have a Freud 8" dado stack (SD208) and use it pretty exclusively. Last time I made dados with a router it created such a dust collection nightmare that it turned me off to using a router to make...
Chuck the errant forester bit in the drill press and start it spinning. Using a fine flat bastard file, file a few light passes against the rotation of the bit to reduce the diameter. Periodically...
Had the same experience about a week ago. Select a screw choices were not all working. I eventually was able to narrow it down to 4 pages of zinc square heads through which I surfed till I found...
To hell with the metric system. Long live the English measurement system!
I bought the Rikon 18" at Woodcraft in July when it was also on sale for $899.
I really like it. Great value for the money.
I have both the medium and heavy duty shop fox bases. I like them. They work great.
Going to get another heavy duty one for my Rikon as soon as I can get over to Woodcraft.
Damn, the secret is out.
I had my eye on the Powermatic 66 and the oscilating spindle sander at Ft Meade. The prices got "pricey" real quick though so I didn't bid on them.
I have...
Is this the Wagner Power spray or roller unit you want to know about?
I have a wagner power roller and it works pretty good. The only gripe I have with it is that it gets the job I want done in...
