Whats going on with Glowforge I see they are still in business. The customers are still happy and nothing burnt down yet? They are getting nearly $6000 for the 45 watt deluxe model.

....Incoming!!!
now you did it, you said 'glow forge'--- now their commercials are showing up on every YouTube video...
;)
I see there have been a few fires but not as many as I would have thought. People are trying to run businesses with them but complain about long waits while they calibrate. still can't engrave thick items
IMO: --- Glowforge, in all its (ahem) glory and well-deserved infamy, makes 2 strong points:
1- Advertising does work--
2- You CAN polish a turd...
Kev you mean brainwash the Ill informed:eek:
you can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter :D
seriously 6K for a slow machine no Z height adjustment.45 watts so called. Its really to bad people get taken in by the high grade BS this company puts out.
Has anyone noticed that on the forum they close the thread before the problem was resolved so you can't see the out come
I know the Forum has lots and lots of posts.
Most of them are for the same problem but they close the thread before the the question is answered with the mod saying we know and will let you know what to do.
After seeing all the problems with connection you would think someone would either hack the controller or replace it with one that doesn't need wifi to operate.
