A friend of mine is building a rocking chair replica and he wants to put a music box that is self winding, doesn't need to press a button or manually wind. He has another chair with it but the mechanism is old and the only thing that can be read is Germany and a few other obscure letters. Thought this might be a good source as no other topic seems to fit. Pics attached. Anyone ever heard or installed such an item?
