Such beautiful work Randall. Could you describe how you sand the wood. By hand? Electric sander and what grade paper do you finish with? Also, what do you use to seal the wood before paint?

charles....i use all kinds of things including gluing sand paper to saws, palette knives, and making my own discs. i seal with water based outdoor polyurethane.....mostly for the UV protection.
yikes....jumped 20 thousand hits in 3 days!! sincere thanks to all that take the time to take a look.
All I can say is WOW Just WOW. How many hours did it take for carving and for painting?
