Does anyone have a recommendation for sealing exterior siding? I am cladding my shed in western red cedar and i dont want it to fade to gray too quickly, and i dont want to stain it much either. Are all clear finishes inherently poor against UV exposure? I like the look of western red cedar and dont want to kill it with pigment. Shed has a 2' overhang on all sides, so i dont think it will see soaking conditions that often.
