ATC Spindle Recommendations

I am considering upgrading my 2.2 kw air cooled spindle to one of the ATC spindles - either Chinese or US made. I would like some feedback from anyone experienced with these, especially Gary Campbell. I have looked at some on Ebay, the S30 at CNC Depot, and several others. Are there other reputable US suppliers, and how do the better Chinese spindles compare to the US made spindles.

I would have to say to: "Buy the best that you can afford". In todays market you are getting what you pay for. Horsepower, bearing quality, built in features, and of course, warranty, run pretty much hand in hand with current pricing. Currently my "Ultimate Woodworking Machines" are only offered with the (rebranded) S30 or a 5hp HSD.
