Just a Tool Chest
Made out of Ash....Only used 1/4" plywood for drawer bottoms, and the case's back..( might have a build-along thread, somewhere)

Length of black chain to hold the lid from going back too far...

Locking bar and hasps to secure things....
Just under 25" tall, over 20" wide, and 13" front to back. Brown stain, followed by a coat of shellac, followed by a coat of Clear Gloss Poly.

3 padlocks, all can use the same key.
Just under a month to build, was trying to got this done before Labor Day Weekend....

I like it, I've built a few ... keep it close, friends tend to convince their need is greater.

Just a small bump...still trying to decide about add storage under the lid, for a couple backsaws...and maybe a compass saw?
Panel saws are tad too LONG, though.
Will need to design a couple "clips" to hold the blades of the saws...insert for the handle should be easy enough to do....Hmmm, Pine, or Ash.....might be pine, as I don't trust Ash to play nice with steel items...
Will have to wait until I am allowed back down into the shop....stay tuned:D
