Sycamore Fig- lumber any good for spoons?

Hey Creekers,

I had a sycamore fig cut down a year back, and the stump grew lots of new shoots.

I'm thinking of cutting down the stump, and splitting it for spoon billets.
Any comments on fig wood as a lumber?
