Which carving chisel to use for this???

Little bit of Woodturning and carving with this project, and I don't know where to start with the carving part!!!!


Making a copy of a bedroom nightstand Lamp. This lamp will be made out of Maple for the bottom piece and Maple for the top section. just below the light switch. Center portion will be Black Walnut. Got the basic turning part of it figured out, but the center Black Walnut section after it is turned to shape; has carved sections about every 2 inches apart. Wide base at the top and the center section narrows down at the lower end. Any idea which carving tool to use ?
