How do you go about cutting a saw blade for a scraper? I think I've heard of scoring the blade and snapping it, but what does one score the blade with? Are there any tips/tricks to keep the blade flat?

I use a cut-off wheel in a Dremel tool. Be sure to use the reinforced kind, because the others tend to shatter. I use the wheel to cut all the way through, but you must go slowly so you don't draw out the temper.
