Trotec Laser Question

Can anyone tell my why, when I am trying to cut out paper with my Trotec Speedy 360 laser it does perforation instead of a clean cut? Help please?

I know zilch about Trotecs, but my machines have a "dot" choice in the menu where you choose raster, or vector, or cut-after-engrave, etc...

Try increasing the frequency by 500 at a time until you get what you want.
