Can anyone name the program this came from?
Dr. Schrödinger was late for a lecture he was supposed to be giving.
He gets pulled over by a police officer for speeding. As the officer is walking past the back of the car he hears a noise.
He asks Dr. Schrödinger for his license and registration, then asks him, "what is in the trunk." Schrödinger tells him, "a cat."
The officer asks if he can see. Schrödinger hands him the keys and says, "sure."
The officer comes back and says, "that cat is dead." Schrödinger says, "well now it is."

420 is not police code for marijuana. There is a California Penal Code - PEN § 420:
The conventional wisdom is it was the time of day, back in the 1970s, that some high school students in San Rafael, CA would get together after school to smoke some pot.Quote:
California Code, Penal Code - PEN § 420
