Mark, I only spray waterborne (and shellac) and actually just ordered a gallon of EM6000 since the last of my USL is about to run out. While this is an acrylic, not a true lacquer, Jeff Weiss managed to get that nice burn-in property in the product way back in the PSL days (my kitchen was finished in that back in 2003) and it's darn easy to work with. Supposedly, the EM6000 formulation is even nicer than the USL was and I have been very happy with that product. The one time I sprayed gloss, I was tickled with the result. (I generally use satin for furniture)
