Air pump / compressor
My gast pump finally died DOA-P709-aa. Gast seems to have discontinued this unit. Any suggestions? I tried the 200.00 aquarium pump it gets returned Monday. So I need something I can run 6 days a week 10 - 15 hours a day. Quiet is important.
Thank you

I have a Gast LOA-P108-AA, it came with the used Gravograph V3200 engraver I bought years ago

---the 3200's spindle up/down motion is done via air plunger rather than by stepper motor,
this pump just keeps the plunger pressurized. Works well, very quiet, but very small.
While it pressurizes okay it doesn't move much air.
I also have a couple of DOA-V170-AA Gast pumps, early 80's models, came with my two
Concept C2000's to run the vaccum hold-down tables...
Attachment 477317
They didn't get used much since we used the center clamps to engrave keycaps.
They're set up as vaccum pumps but move a lot more air than the small one. Just
a matter of removing the 'muffler' and attaching some hose :)
My Triumph's 'fish tank' pump still works, but sure is noisy, and I don't use it NEAR as much as you use yours! I'm planning on trying one of the V170's on the Triumph, it seems like it moves enough air but not sure.
I just found the one V170 in the pic, not sure where I hid the other one. I'd be willing to sell one if I can find them both...

Thanks, I am looking at a California air compressor with the dryer to run both systems
