Started this project in early July.
I plan to leave the dovetails proud with a slight roundover. I may also leave the tenon wedges a bit proud as well.
Doors will be inset with glass. Back panel will be Sapele veneer.

Coming along nicely Jake, looking forward to your progress
Nice crisp dovetails. I should visit you for some lessons. I am still in the practice mode.
Nice work Jake.
you must be a young feller 🤣
my days of building big pieces is probably over. Too many aches and pains.
Looks great!
Welcome to the Creek!
Fred
Very tidy. Nice proportions.
Lovely grain choices.
Kudos
Great start and a great intro. Love the Pekovich-ish dovetails. I also dig the old Craftsman cab-saw. Looks like a 1960's King Seeley. I really enjoy working with sapele; so many rich colors. Looking forward to tagging along.
Finished the back panel.
Rounded over the tenon wedges.
I couldn't help but apply a coat of wipe-on poly just to see how it looked.
Shout-out to Titebond liquid hide glue. Cleans up extremely easy and doesn't soak into end grain like PVA. Not sure I would have been able to leave the wedges proud without it.
Progress on the doors. Waiting to glue.
Bridle joints with glass panels.
