Congratulations! We lost our harlequin dane this past summer, oddly enough she followed a German short haired pointer. She wasn't a fan of the shop, but the mastiff is.. As long as the planer isn't running.
What a cutie! I see he's already found the comfy spot!
He's a handsome feller!
The size of those paws…gives one pause. When you hear him whimper ,that means “ time for you to push my chair !”
But you will learn it all ! Wishing you and family many happy years with him !
Very cute! And when it's full grown, it can double as a mobile outfeed table. :D :D :D

It's real ! :D :D
We had a Great Dane. He lived to be 13 - which is unheard of. He was the ultimate couch potato. All he did was lay on the couch, get up and move to the bed to lay on, get off that after a while and head to the love seat in the family room then finally back to the couch. He only paused to eat and go outside.
He was also attached to my wife like a piece of velcro.
Follow the Marmaduke comic strip. Great Danes have a whole set of unique traits & you can tell the author(s) are Dane owners.

Someone once told me that people who have mastiffs, of which Danes are a member of, in apartments were cruel. I laughed my head off. Big dogs, they love to lounge far more than to run.
Pretty dog.
My understanding is Danes take a little longer to train their owner, but once that is done, they get along great.
Congrats! My shop dog just hit 3 this week.
Cute pup
All I will say is that if you don't have experience with Danes, be prepared. They simply don't know how big they are.
We were told when we bought the German Short-hair that they were nicknamed the velcro dog. They were right! Even at 14+ years and weighing over 80# he still thought he was a lapdog.
Looks like Hennessy is going to be just the same. lol
