Rotary Attachment for fiber laser

When I bought my BEC fiber laser I ordered it with a rotary attachment. The rotary attachment that they sent me is more suited for Jewelry type items like rings or bracelets. I want to get another rotary with the 3 jaw chuck that can hold more items. I see many available online that have a 4 pin aviation style plug. The rotary attachment that I have has a 15 pin plug similar to a printer cable to attach to the fiber laser box. I want to know if anyone has converted from the 4 pin aviation plug to a 15 pin printer cable plug and what kind of problems you had in converting.
