  1. I'm just an amateur woodworker who had the good fortune to accumulate a lot of nice woodworking tools and a great shop to use them in (all with my wife's generous permission). I think she expected a lot of nice woodwork to be produced from my shop, and I don't think she's been disappointed so far. We have our own bandmill sawmill on site, along with a Nyle dry kiln. Our 185 acres of timber here in the southern Ozarks produces more than enough lumber for our needs, plus some surplus to sell off to my woodworking friends.

Started my career as a science teacher, went into telecommunications in the mid-70's, retired in 2000, all the time nurturing a woodworking hobby along in my spare time. Finally got serious about woodworking in 2005.
