On second thought I'll mess with this tool one more time. If you want to send me the blade/cap iron send it to: Bill Winter 3425 High Plateau Garland, TX 75044. Thanks!!

I have decided to deep six this plane. I can't get the frog to be square to the base and the lateral adj. tang is not reaching the cap iron correctly. It's just not worth my time.

I totally agree Jim, he prices ridiculously high, that said, the classifieds forum rules are pretty clear on debating price & value.

Maybe I should have said that it includes their miter square, clamps and the saw plate.

On the blue menu bar at the top of every page is a Donate Link in yellow text. The link will provide both PayPal information and a physical postal address for those who prefer to send a check via snail mail.

    Thanks

    Hi Jim,

I hadnt given that much thought to trades.... let me ramble a bit.

    Oscillating edge sander
    Power feeder for shaper
    Makita track saw
Maybe a fein or festool dust extractor
Locked miter shaper cutter (small one preferred, but needs 1 1/4" bore)
Some of the LV or LN bench planes, possibly a saw, a small shoulder plane and a #4 or #5. Maybe a couple floats, rasps, possibly some layout/msmt tools like a high quality combo square.

Basically all the stuff nobody would want to get rid of!!

This machine can do some work - I just have multiple other ways. Oh, and I have a pneumatic line drill/hinge drill that is a nice little unit if you are making cabinets I would let it go as well. I will have to dig out the details on it and get some pics.

Jim: sent you a private message: had no idea that there was a separate private conversation function. Anyway, USPS priority mail insured shipping would be $15.60. PayPal payment works for me. It this works for you, let me know and I will send my paypal address. Thanks Phil
