  1. I believe that Rob uses Lie-Nielsen chisels, at least they appear to be LN.

I bought the Blue-spruce dovetail chisel because it was the closest to what Rob uses that i could find. You can find them at the link below.

  3. Hi Ed,

Yes, I heard about it on Sunday and joined up. I watched the first episode on Sunday evening and just finished episodes 2 and 3 moments ago. I'm enjoying the instruction as well. I think seeing it in real time rather than shortened for a DVD will help me with my patience as I iterate through some things such as getting rid of twist in a board.

I enjoy watching instructional videos (in general) but I often wonder how much the instructor cut out of the time it takes to accomplish something. I've seen some by others where it was obviously compressed 5-10x or more. Nothing beats seeing it in real-time since that's what I'll be trying to emulate.

Thank you for the heads up. I've been watching for posts on it in Neander and figure they'll appear soon, as word gets out!

I remember you saying something about wanting to attend some of Rob Cosmans classes so I was wondering if you heard about Rob Cosmans online woodworking school? You can read about it at www.handtoolworkshop.com . I joined and have watched the first three episodes. I am enjoying the instruction and thought you might want to check it out.
