Ricc sorry I didn't get back with you sooner. I haven't been on here in a while due to eye problems and travel. Generally on those I get $22 at the Gallery and the Cultural Center. Again I apologize. Haven't been able to be in the shop due to my eyes which I am happy to say in September got the full clearance to get back at it. Anyway will probably be on here a little more now that I can actually do some work. LOL
Ricc, Ricc, I just use the standard tip. You should practice on some other prepared wood to learn the feel. I usually sign after a coat of finish, but it works well also before applying finish. A "shallow" signing will take finish differently and be a lot more visable after finishing. You can either rub the signing with your fingers or last grit sandpaper to remove any raised edges. Tom
Hey Ric, I don't have any plans, just looked at pictures of others on the board here and then worked it to fit my lathe. Fortunately, I have a buddy who owns a ShopBot, so the rings were easy.
