i want an extra as im doing a large run of extra lon table legs, and need a long toolrest and extra support. Also i have been annoyed with the old one the small handle for holding the toolpost needs a lot og force to hold the toolpost in place. So i thought to get the oneway as the new primary and to use the old as secondary.
  2. Hi Rasmus,
Not sure how the 1640 banjo will work on a powermatic. It should, but I'm not sure about the height of the tool post. Have you considered having a square locking plate made for you PM banjo. I use several lathes that have the round type that are on the PM and all of them lock less secure than my 1640.
