Biography:

Engineering degree, 1974. Retired in 2016. Just began pursuing woodworking in 2020. Much of my time currently is devoted to co-writing a book on a pioneer American family (not related).
In the last two years, I bought a DeWalt contractor type table saw (made a zero clearance insert and using the Kreg riving setup), a Kreg router table. I also got a track saw setup. Two shop vacs with cyclones are my dust collection and work well. My shop is the size of a single car garage. Ive done some finish carpentry and built a laundry folding table for my son and daughter-in-law in 2021. Next (2022!) is building a work bench, with table saw built in, on casters. Also, cabinets for the router table and the drill press.
