- My wife (veterinarian) and I live on a farm south of Raleigh. In addition to producing hay and eggs, we operate a quartersawn oak lumber business on the farm (www.quartersawnoak.com). A Peterson 10" swingblade sawmill and a Nyle dehumidification wood kiln are the core of our sawmill operation. We can mill up to 5' diameter, 60' long, and dry up to 44' long. I enjoy all types of wood and metal working.
