    Hey Brian,

I found this site after doing a 'google search' for reviews of the Anant version of the Record 53 vise. I see that you commented on it almost three years ago, when you bought one new. Now that you've had it for a while, what do you think of it? Is it still holding up? I'm thinking of buying one, but I'm a little hesitant. I know that it looks like a Record vise, but is the quality there? Is the steel properly tempered so that it will hold up to years of use?

My thanks in advance, Mike in Maryland

The significant problems we encounter cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.

The penalty for inaccuracy is more work
