Josiah, I saw your review on the shop fox table saw fence and was wondering about the back rail. Is that just a support/glide rail or what? All of the locking happens on the front rail, right?

Josiah, I saw your post about the under deck drainage system you built. What did you use as spacers under your joists? Do you have any pics? Would you do anything different? I was just getting ready to build the same sort of system for my deck and happy to find your post I welcome any insight you have. Thanks.
  3. Greg,
No, haven't mounted it in a plane sole yet- I've been busy making Christmas gifts. I was going to copy an old wooden jointer plane I have but I haven't done it yet. I've used mine quite a bit as a sander and as a small cutoff saw. It does quite a smooth job if you guide it straight. I've upgraded to a good standalone jointer so I haven't hand-jointed a board in a while. When I do get around to making a jig I'll be sure to post the results on Sawmill creek.
    Regards,
    Josiah

In thread http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=122604 you talked about using a MultiFunction Tool [terribly vague name] = Sonicrafter as a jointer.

I just got one from Menards, and did a test cut in plywood and am amazed at the smoothness of the cut. I'm thinking of building a jig to cut plywood panels, and am looking for pointers.
Did you ever build jigs to use it as a jointer? Or saw?
