Biography:

I am a retired contractor and have built myself a small but well equipped shop. By trade I was (still am I guess) a framing carpenter. So, although I have done some shop work over the years this is the first time I have had my own shop. Here is what I have. Rigid table saw, Dewalt planer, Grizzly band saw, Grizzly 733 lathe, Jet 8” jointer, Grizzly drill press, Dewalt 12” sliding mitre saw. Shop is full of tools so I will be using the garage for assembly. I also have an old 16” lathe that was given to me by one of my Vietnam platoon buddies. That’s what got me interested in turning, I originally had no intention of getting a lathe.
