I started woodturning at age 11 when I found a book called The Practical Woodturner by Frank Pain from the UK. I learned just about everything I needed to know plus lots more along the 54 years I been on the lathe. I own 11 lathes now. Some hydraulic, automatic, & hand lathes too.
