    Brian,
I'm a new hand tool woodworker, and I'm very interested in the dovetail saw. Just not familiar with the site and how transactions are processed. Can you fill me in on that?

    Thanks

    H&R search -
    What sizes do you seek?

I mounted mine using the collar mechanism as a template (some assembly required).

Once reassembled, I used my sawbench to support the main screw and advanced the screw to get height close. Once you get a top screw in, the rest is easy. I used a strap to keep things off my toes.

The hardest part was flipping the top over.

I mounted mine "free" not inset.

I've got a similar Patternmaker's vise from Emmert.

It was a PITA to mount, and I don't regret it.
Because the vise rotates to an elevated position, it has become my preference for dovetails, short rip cuts and just getting things high enough to see.

The underside of my benchtop is an undeniable mess - and what of it?

I used a circular saw to score out material and the biggest gouge I own to clear debris.

The only advise I can give is to avoid placing it where you must squeeze by into your shop.

The previous owner used it for decades, and you will too...
