    Hey Bob
Saw you post on the marking gauge and thought I would say hello. Funny thing, I just bought the basic LV gauge. I like it so far and it seems to do everything I ask it to do. I have lots and lots of carving tools I would love to own. It seems like you just have to narrow some things down??

Working my second LB desk and I'm at the 60-70 percent point. I am stalled on face wood(veneer) for the desk drawer fronts. Finding a long crotch line to resaw and veneer to the fronts of the drawers is proving to be.. a challenge. I'm not in a rush with this one .. it has nobody waiting on delivery. I have 6 windsor bowbacks on order so they are the priority. My wife is doing very well now so I'm trying to get back in the groove.
Bob I wanted to thank you again for your help along the way. I hope we can get together and trade a few stories about the ups and downs of Penn desk building.
    Take care
