Dining room carver chairs - Take 2

    Thread Starter: Derek Cohen

The chairs were purchased all those years ago along with a table, which is around 200 years old. We need a larger table, and time has come to...

One of those sitting at the computer in the morning with a cup of coffee itching to buy a new tool ... Help with low motor power on table saw

Had a 7.5 baldor, had a seperate post on this because I thought I figured out what was going on but evidently this is beyond my knowledge or experience. I replaced caps on 7.5 baldor, no difference, bought new leeson 7.5 hp, both single phase motors, got it hooked up, check wiring, cranked...

    Router questions

    Thread Starter: chris hood

My router on the recently purchased router table quit, it came on then off then on now it will not come on. I have it pulled apart trying to get all the sawdust out of the connections, it's embedded pretty bad, not sure if that is the cause but worth a try. I found another identical one on eBay for...

In the Bay Area, depending on where you shop hardwoods like Oak and walnut can run up to $15-18bf/ft, or more for the rift/quarter sawn stuff. If one is able to source your own logs, running your own mil and kiln...

Help with low motor power on table saw

I would measure the voltage at the motor under load. It's very possible to measure 240v when not loaded but have it drop once the motor starts to draw

    Interesting tool theft story.

When I was much younger I worked at a location that wasn't in the greatest part of town. At least once a week someone would come to our shop offering

    Surveys

I really believe the whole process goes like this:
a.) what do we want to prove?
b.) how much do we have to spend on doing this?
    c.)

    Batteries for Festool drills

Jim, the 10.8v C12 has been a delightful drill/driver for many years. Lighter than anything else I had. Its lower power was only evident when I used it
