    Bad job coming

    Thread Starter: Tom M King

I have these two raised panel garage doors to refinish on a lake rental house. Just testing a couple of panels, it won't be too bad sanding down to bare wood, but someone had put another coat of marine varnish on the bottom two sections, so those are going to get some work with a heat gun before...

I now have a d-way detail spindle gouge (1/2") on the way and was thinking about trying a 25°...

Powermatic Model 80 20" Bandsaw - Yes or No?

    Thread Starter: Brent Ring

All, I have been in the market for a bigger bandsaw. Starting to build some rocking chairs a la Hal Taylor, and my PM 141 does not have enough clearance to make a few of the cuts needed. A Powermatic 80 20" had come up in my area, for a little under $1k. Owner states it runs smooth, cuts well....

    I can't argue with that.
