Harvey Slider on Unisaw?

All these slider threads got me thinking. Does anyone here have the Harvey compass st-1500 attached to their unisaw? Can you speak on the quality, ease of attachment, capabilities and shortcomings? Thank you in advance!

Spindle gouge bevel angle?

I have a 1/2" sorby detail gouge that I have ground at 40° (also removed the heel) and it works ok now that I moved away from the jigs and started sharpening by hand... but it's still just an ok tool. I now have a d-way detail spindle gouge (1/2") on the way and was thinking about trying a 25°...

Powermatic Model 80 20" Bandsaw - Yes or No?

All, I have been in the market for a bigger bandsaw. Starting to build some rocking chairs a la Hal Taylor, and my PM 141 does not have enough clearance to make a few of the cuts needed. A Powermatic 80 20" had come up in my area, for a little under $1k. Owner states it runs smooth, cuts well....

Total Boat (Jamestown Distributors) focuses on coatings, rather than adhesives. I suggest you pick up a structural epoxy like System Three T-88 or similar

Systainers?

While I didn't use the SYS-AZ dawers...I made my own equivalent...and agree. Slide them out, open the box and so forth. Lesser used tools are "bottom"
