Lawrence Duckworth Today, 3:15 PMI usually do rebate, sand, route, miter, assembly. IMHO people forget the sanding part often and a lot of built frames look amateurish when assembled.
Michael Burnside Today, 3:10 PMIf your base frame is already assembled a biscuit jointer,if you have one, can cut the slot where you require it for z type table top fastners.
I've seen those before. Not in person, mind you. But I think it's just an aesthetic thing. A reason to stand out from all of the other saw makers out
