I’m hanging in there so far,but it’s surely painful. I’ve moved some money from technology to less volatile investments but there really is no place to hide, maybe cash, but you know what they say about market timing. What are you doing?
Last Post By: Dave Zellers Yesterday, 8:58 PMI think I'm finally going to pull the trigger on an 8" jointer. I don't have one right now and I'm tired of having to planer sled/table saw sled for jointing and not getting perfect cuts on those anyways. Prices are all over the place between brands. I'm wanting helical and probably...
Last Post By: Jared Sankovich Today, 8:13 AMAfter watching the video below I'm questioning the need for my crosscut sled. It seems that mine rarely gets used in favor of an Incra miter gauge, which I find easier to handle than the bulky and heavier crosscut sled. The only complaint with the miter gauge is it doesn't stay square or at least...
Last Post By: Edwin Santos Yesterday, 3:31 PMGood day I have an opportunity to upgrade my Felder AD951 to something bigger, I have been wanting to separate the jointer and thickness planer for sometime. I am considering SCM L’Invincibile S7, and Felder/Format Exact 63. Luckily both machines are in stock and available for...
Last Post By: David Zaret Yesterday, 11:51 PMI have a few questions….. I am this close (thumb & forefinger almost touching) to ordering their 2675, 26” Drum Sander. • The Asian imports are a lot cheaper, are you still happy with your decision to go with the Woodmaster? • Did you get the reversing switch upgrade? Was it...
Last Post By: Dave Power Today, 1:29 AMInteresting that your gauge has no play. Mine was unuseable. I should have taken some dial indicator readings before and after the fixes were applied
Thomas Wilson Today, 10:11 AMI didn't mean to argue with your method, but present my alternate way. Both work. The important point is to not let the glue completely dry and cure before
Frank Pratt Today, 10:00 AMGrizzly G0458z, used, $1000. Supermax 1938, new $2000. Jet 1632 new $1500.
Which would be your choice? Any particular reason?
I tend to research user groups, forums, etc.. If you spend a little time you can generally get a feel for reality. SMC has been a great resource for me
Rob Luter Today, 9:57 AMAs far as stock miter guides go, the SawStop one is pretty darn good, by far the best I've ever used. It's well worth those upgrades.

Time for some levity
