Seems they just work!

Nothing posted recently about issues with Grizzly lathes, as far as major problems. Seems that way, as posts and inquiries related to problems appear to be few and far between. I know that my G0766 ia performing superbly, as I have a vase form on the lathe now, with a steady rest attached to the bed, and an articulating hollowing rig also attached to the bed. That is one reason I jumped on the G0766 the first few minutes Grizzly made them available, as the length of the bed allows for needed apparati to be installed.

We had not had any posts since June 1, so I thought I’d close out the month with the observation above, and use it to see how many might respond, in order to guage how many are still reading the GGMG. So, if you read this, please post a line or two that you are still active on the GGMG. Thanks!

I do check this site nearly every day and read new posts. The few issues i have had with my GO733 were easily handled with information I received from other readers.

I'm still here, still checking this group. Still using and loving my 0766! Wish I could find a second one for the new shop I'm building in the TX Hill Country!

My best to all of you!

Roger, I'm still here too, and I bet a great many of the GGMG members are as well, whether they join in on this thread or not!

I monitor the Group (and the Turner's Forum itself) by configuring my settings to get a daily digest of all posts to existing and new threads. I'll jump in with a comment only if I think I have something more to add to the generally excellent input overall.

We should also keep in mind that it's not just the GGMG members who benefit from the Group. Its threads and posts are fully searchable through all the popular search engines. So anyone from anywhere doing, say, a Google or Bing search for information on Grizzly lathes is likely to pull up content from the Group's impressive database. It's a database that's been growing for years, ever since you did the turning world a big favor by getting it started!

Bottom line, I don't think the infrequency of posts from time to time is any indicator at all of the actual interest in this valuable resource!

Still turning on my G0776 with no problems (except the ones I bring on myself).

I check SMC pretty much every day, but I forget to check this group separately. My G0766, after initial issues that Grizzly solved, has been problem free. I only wish that it didn't produce so much wood detritus.
