Parts Availability?

Due to the news reports being filled with stories about supply chain issues, and the fact that I have gotten emails from several companies, including Grizzly…I’m wondering if anyone of our group has had any problems getting parts needed for Grizzly machines? I have replaced the bearings on my G0555LX bandsaw recently, and just purchased them from Amazon.com. One bearing that is on the top guide just wore the seal off the back and exposed the bearings inside, and two smaller ones were basically locked up. I decided to replace all bearings except the center hub bearings on the band wheels, as they were fine.

Been lucky I guess and have not needed to replace anything so far.

The only thing that I've had to replace are two potentiometers. When I bought them, I also bought a spare fwd-off-rev switch and the emergency power off switch "just in case". I also replaced the legs with the newer shorter ones, but that wasn't because there was a failure. It was just because I wanted the lathe bed to sit a couple of inches lower.

Mark, it appears that most owners have pretty much the same experience as you…not needing any replacements, which is a good thing! I personally know of more than a dozen owners in our area with the G0766, and none of them have had any problems either.

I replaced the pot on my G0766 last year and ordered a spare at the same time. No need to order any parts lately. I suspect there may be quite a wait time for machinery and parts that are not in stock.
