Grizzly and Chinese Tariffs

Greetings! I was wondering if anyone has any info on this topic. I remember when the G0766 came out that the price to performance made the value of the lathe almost astronomical (IMHO). After the Chinese tariffs started (and remember when Grizzly had 2 prices on their website including the tariff tax?), the prices jumped up (I think 600 or so dollars).

With the recent trade agreement with China, any hope of the Grizzly tools made in China coming down in price? I realize a price increase on everything is standard, but from what I have seen, that high of a percentage in price jump was only due to the tariffs.

It's just my luck that the price will drop $600 right after I paid the inflated price. It's still a great lathe at the current price and less than 1/2 of anything else in its category.

I’m not sure about the tariffs, so would be reluctant to venture out and give unreliable information. Still, at todays price the G0766 is the best value in a large lathe out there.

Before I bought my G0766 last Summer, I was watching youtube reviews on this lathe. Darbin Ovar's lathe review video had a 10% off coupon code for the G0766. It was DARBIN10. Grizzly honored the coupon code and saved me several hundred dollars. I sent her an email thanking her for the discount code but I never got a response. I guess she thought I was a stalker or something.
