After watching Ashley Harwood latest YouTube https://youtu.be/xYM4OtoTQFE I got to thinking, could we add a hour counter like something a tractor has. This face it my woodturning sucks and I want to improve by a LOT If I can just put in the time and do the same thing over and over and over someday could knock off the legendary Roger Chandler.

Mark, if you look on ebay, there are a bunch of hour counters on sale. Some run on 120 vac, some run on 12 vdc, etc. If I bought one I'd tend to get one with either a mechanical counter or non-volatile (NVRAM) memory so that the hour count doesn't accidentally clear itself on a power interruption. But they're cheap. The last time I looked there was a good selection under $20 (plus some more expensive ones).
