I noticed last evening the Shop Fox version of the G0766 was in stock [W1852 for $2599.00], and so was the G0766 for $2750.00. The Shop Fox has 2 year warranty vs the G0766 which has 1 year warranty. I noticed the price increase of the G0766 made it more than the Shop Fox, so right now, the longer warranty of the Shop Fox and the lesser price make it the way to go in my opinion......that is if you can live with a black and white paint scheme instead of a green and white paint scheme.
I bought my G0766 2 years ago. I got a 10% off coupon code from one of the Youtube channels. I recently noticed the price hike on the Grizzly site. After calculating sales tax, shipping and current price, I paid about $1,000 less than the current cost. That's quite a price hike. Those that bought before the Chinese tariffs kicked in got a really good deal.
I have read that the cost for moving a shipping container from China to the US has tripled. Also, right now there are record number of container ships sitting in the ocean off of California waiting to unload. That is part of the extra cost. But why the Shop Fox costs less is a head scratcher.
