I'm trying to help a friend find a replacement v-belt. The Grizzly site offers a 3/8" belt for about $70. The belt I want to replace looks like it's about 1/4" wide. Would a 3/8" belt work?
Don't know for sure but 70 bucks for a belt I would sure try to see if it would work. I found this site to get a custom belt size you might be able to go to the auto repair store and find one. https://www.gates.com/us/en/power-transmission/special-belts/recreational-vehicle-belts.html
I looked at the Grizzly site for parts and they described it as a M24.5 or 3L245 Belt. But it sells for $7.50. That pretty much matches what I'd expect and what I see on the internet. Am I missing something? Or did you miss seeing the decimal point? Transcribed from the Griz site: Grizzly P0462022 - V-Belt MX24.5, Cogged, $7.50
