I see that on the Griz web site that the G0766 has dropped in price from $2250 to $2025. In fact a bunch of the wood lathes are also on sale. I'm not sure if this is because of the pandemic or the recent deal with the Chinese and lowering of tariffs. But I thought that I'd pass this on.

More interesting than the 10% discount on 766 and the rest of the lathes is the 39% discount on the ShopFox 1866. $3,415 is quite a price for such a big dog machine. Wonder if they are going to drop that model from the lineup?
I've been seeing 15% off and free shipping from Jet and Powermatic. Even Laguna has 10% off now. I guess Grizzly is just trying to keep up.
Perhaps it is, as Robert D Evans said, companies just trying to keep up. Or perhaps it is a result of some changes with China tariffs. I know that there was a "trade deal" made, but I don't know if it applied to machinery.
