I’ve gotten in the steel, purchased the castors, and now just have to get a little time to fabricate and weld the Lift, Lock and roll mobil bases for my two large lathes. When I get the first set made, I’ll post a couple pics.

Hi Brice. I'm looking forward to getting started on these in the next couple weeks a I return from vacation. It will likely be a step at a time, cutting, drilling, welding type fabrication, over some days as I can find time to work on them. The first one will be for the G0800, and then the G0766. Perhaps some pics in progress here as I go along.

Hi Mark. I got stymied on them due to a bout with achillies tendonitis in my right ankle/heel, and for a week could not hardly put any weight on it. Doctor told me to stay off it, and gave me prescription anti-inflamatory meds and pain meds. It’s better, but not totally well now, but i did drill a few holes the other day. When I went to the hardware store for the nuts/bolts for the axles, I purchased a 14” metal chop saw made by Milwaukee Tools, with abrasive blade. I am expecting a 14” steel blade made by Evelouton to arrive from Amazon.com today, so I’ll be back at it shortly.

Hi Roger, good to read you're posting again.

I have a cheap 14 inch chop saw and it is a good addition to my collection of tools. Nothing special - - a HF tool.

Things like tendonitis and muscle/tendon tears are slow to heal. Don't ask me how I know. ($20K buck in shoulder reconstruction/rehab).

Good luck on your recovery, Roger.
